One month checkup!!!
Connor had his one month checkup today- he did very well at the doctor's office!
He weighed 9lbs, 13oz (38th percentile) and was 22.5 inches long (70th percentile). So now we know why he's way too long for all his clothes! He's gained 2#5oz since birth and grown 2.25 inches! He had to get a shot, so he wasn't very happy about that but he did fine!
After his appointment, we went househunting for a few hours and Connor got a nice long nap.

Quick update......and new pics
Hello out there to my 2 or 3 readers. More pics of my baby to bore you with!
Connor and I had a nice long outing yesterday-
I had my 5 week OB followup visit which went quite well. Connor was a well behaved baby for most of the time and enjoyed all the sights and noises of the waiting room. The really good news is that my blood pressure was totally normal! I actually had horrible blood pressure after he was delivered-my OB started me on medicine and it then was even worse a week later at my followup appointment and they doubled the meds (170/100 is really not a good thing). I was supposed to stop the medicine a week before my follow up and so now I am totally off ! Great news!
After my appointment, we stopped by Subway in the hospital and then visited Daddy's work for a few minutes to introduce him to his coworkers. Connor had enough at that point and was ready to head home for some lunch. Tommorrow we have his 1 month old checkup to see how much he's grown!!!

Um, yeah that is a very girly outfit.
One month pictures with "Honey"
And, yes it was way past Christmas when we took these pictures, but this outfit had already been washed and I couldn't find anybody to give it to, so we figured we would at least put him in in once. To illustrate how fast he has grown, it was gigantic on him before Christmas.

Connor had a very exciting experience this past week- he met a dog for the first time. Needless to say neither of them were very happy to see one another. Dixie actually used to lay her head on my belly a lot while I was pregnant but I guess she didn't mind him b/c he was crying then!

Seriously?
I promise to post more cute baby pics soon, but I need to vent. What idiot at my insurance company decided that they "don't cover epidurals" ?? Surely it is some man. Um, how would they feel if somebody refused to cover anesthesia for their vasectomy???????
